Thanks to those who have subscribed! This was not an easy task & until now I was not sure if I could pull this off. Many said it could not be done. More video's as I learn how to edit. I had to enlist help of friend as I had no clue how.

Thanks for the comment! I built the entire truck for less than what it would have cost to drop in a 5.0 Crate engine. 300.00 for truck and 3250.00 for a 6000 mile donor truck less 1500-2000 in parts sold from donor truck. My daily driver now is a '18 F150 Gen3 Coyote would love to do a swap with one into one of my other '66 Trucks but time & $ not to mention the energy needed.

My brother has one those ford f100's the step side 4x4 all original. I everything but the dash and instrument cluster you gotta stick with the original and have some of the modern stuff hidden but that's just my opinion.

I currently have 7 yes Seven different 1966 F100/250 Trucks. Having them all the same would be too boring! This truck was all about COST which was a FRACTION of what it would have cost to keep it original since the arizona sun took its toll on entire truck. It was basically just a rough 300.00 body that needed everything. I have others in process with both 3.5 & 2.7 EcoBoost engines where if I do not lift the hood you would never know. Have you ever priced a new interior for one of these trucks? One could spend 4k easy the late model interior was FREE! I wanted creature comforts and a killer chassis, steering, suspension & brakes. I kept all the electronics like Trailer Sway Control, Cruise, Stability Control, ABS, Electronic Steering & the Large F150 Brakes. I have another truck where I Upgraded the Brakes, added OverDrive, did custom Wheels, with a nice 482 FE and it cost 10x more to do.

@EcoBoost EngineSwap There's an engine swap I would like to see that would be different. Take a turbo-diesel from a Ford 7710 farm tractor and put it in a Ford truck! Would make a great off road vehicle!

Wow, good job, I am sure this needed a lot of modifications, it would be nice to see the whole build. Did you use the newer frame or modify the old one?👍

EcoBoost EngineSwap In reply to Radman SA

THere should be videos of complete build. This truck I bought a new Frame from Ford in the closest wheel base as my truck then used drivetrain from donor truck. I wanted full electronics like a new truck has. In process of doing a couple more EcoSwaps One with no extra's but just enough to make it run and drive and operate the 6R80 Auto the other same but with a few creature comforts like cruise control. After 3 Eco swaps I want to do a Gen3 Coyote 10spd in the next one.

I'm all for putting a modern drive train under an old truck but that retro interior is just too beautiful to me to replace with anything else. At the same time it's very impressive you were able to do it and of course the old interior might have been in poor shape for all I know.

Sam bo, I am doing another 1966 F250 Swap this time a factory Ranger (bucket seats) and the interior will be like it left factory all stock except for actual gauges. It will maintain stock cluster portion

EcoBoost EngineSwap In reply to Sam bo

It was all about doing it myself on a total budget. I used the seats from donor. Since I used cab floor from donor it was much easier too. Cost to properly restore a 1966 seat is 750-1000.00. I currently have (7) Different 1966 Trucks. 3 of them will have FE v-8's no fun in having them all the same.

Ha! I currently have SEVEN (7) 1965-66 Trucks along with a 1963 that's a builder or parts truck. I would take 300.00 for it. The '63 is complete less fenders and has a 1955 292 engine in it

I was like.. 'yikes'' ..when I saw your plan of full integration, Ima have to jump ahead and see how this bad boy turned out. I went a different route ..restored my 1976 short bed, added a 351 Winsor, stroked to 421 cu. in. ..torque monster 555 lb.ft. w/ full 4 link suspension (3.50:1 nine inch) and coil overs. Short only of final paint, ..I sold it (booo) but then bought a 2014 F-150 EcoBoost ..that we love to pieces.
