The third-generation Acura TL is, NSX aside, probably the best looking Acura ever made. They really nailed the formula with that car. It has the right proportions, was built well, and offered solid performance for the time. But this one is different. Packing a fully built, Rotrex supercharged V6 up front, a manual transmission, and suspension and brakes to back it up, this is probably one of if not the fastest street driven Acura TL in the world.

      Nice video. I used to own a Supercharged 2004 TL in WDP color. I had a Eaton S/C and only dyno'd at 313whp. So I can only imagine how fast that 450whp was on the track.

      I've considered swapping one of the J-series motors into an EG hatchback and converting to RWD. It would be a lot of custom fab work, but I've got the time. Does anybody know if it would still be too front heavy to make good use of the RWD setup?

      I own a 08 Type S 6MT and Honda screwed up after the 3rd gen TL, sales plummeted, Acura had the number 2 best selling luxury sedan next to BMW....I hope they redeem themselves a more affordable Nsx or S2k/intergra revamp would be nice. We must save the 6MTs!!!
