My walk around a winter storm downtown toronto. It was a cold day, -9 C, but because the wind was gusting so much, it felt worse.

I thought that getting a video of a winter storm Toronto would give people an idea about what a winter day can be like here. Keep in mind this isn't an everyday occurrence, but you can expect this to happen a few days at least during the winter.

In this Toronto winter walking tour, we start on Bay street and zig zag through different areas, hitting Yonge, King, going through Nathan Phillips square (some crazy people were actually ice skating through this weather!). I hope you enjoy the video, and let me know what you think in the comments. I'll be adding part 2 to this later on.

Yup, it definitely was! But it was worth it to give any viewers who don't live in a place that have cold winters a chance to see what it's like....from the comfort and warmth of YouTube!!!!!

@My Walk Around I had a bad feeling it was a person, that's really sad.

It's sad to say...but I believe it was a homeless person. There are many shelters available but many homeless stay out in the street and lie down on top of vents and grates where hot air come up either from the sewer or Subway or wherever it comes from. They huddle underneath blankets and sleep on the vent to stay warm...Toronto has a winter shelter program called "out of the cold" it's especially for homeless people, but some people just don't want to go to a shelter...

Nice, cold walk! Although I’m dreaming of something warmer at the moment. My walks from Stockholm are snowy and cold as well
