How does the radio wave know the way to the cell tower and from the cell tower back to another phone? Does it just emit the frequency everywhere?(the voice that is turned into 1's and 0's and theninto a radiowave frequency)And if everyone has a cellphone do the individual radiowaves not interfere? And how many unique radiowaves can a cell tower take in? And aside from calling. How does 4g work? How can so much information be transferred through a wave (20-100mb/s) ?

It's still not clear, how does source MSC(home) discovers destination MSC(home). Can anyone please explain?

    • wirito
wirito In reply to shiva chaganti

Because each MSC has all the info from each phone. So if you call someone, you are tracking its location using the destination phone number (at least that’s what I gather from the video)

TDMA has other uses aside from 2G mobile networks. It is also used in wireless broadband (ISM bands 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) to offset the limitations of 802.11 CSMA/CD. It is because TDMA allows P2MP wireless broadband links to send data simultaneously to multiple clients. Every manufacturer of wireless broadband equipment has an implementation of TDMA technology.
