I love my 1997 F-150 XLT. My 2000 XL is sooo much lighter though. Both Nevada trucks, no rust, body and paint like New.

If you have a good credit score above 740(Prime) you should finance through a bank and get a decent APR, also they often offer 0% APR for 60 months.

It's in reference to the current truck market, 51K BEFORE rebates and incentives is just above the truck market average cost of 49K in 2018, This truck on the dealer website has a sale price of 33,137.

DeLo Enterprises In reply to I'm a tree

True, used trucks generally will save money HOWEVER you don't know how the vehicle was treated or how it was driven(heavy redline towing ect) there is a peace of mind when buying something new and IMO its worth not investing in a used vehicle that will nickel and dime you until it would have been worth it to buy new.....

+DeLo Enterprises You should mention that in videos since most people don't know that. MSRP is suggested retail, but you can usually get the XLT for 20-25% off MSRP so it ends up being under $40k. Something like that.

The trick is to wait for rebates, usually you can get this truck up to $13,000 off the sticker price and then it becomes affordable. I don’t know of anybody that pays full price for these things.

Most of this mass produced tech cost pennies on the dollar. But the bean counters realized that for years customers have parked $45k f150 lariats and kings next to $75k 5 series bimmers and the like. The tech is how ford trys to justify the 24k extra price for high options. Chevy figured this out b4 ford. The inflated is another reason for these high prices. Still most likely best truck avail.
