Today, I review the brand new 2019 Honda Civic SI. If you're in the market for a fun to drive sedan that can be used as a daily driver, this is the car you should be looking at. 200 HP mated to a 6-speed manual and that's only the start!

I wish they use the same rear bumper design like the coup. That chunk of plastic on the sedan is an eye sore...

Waste. Only a 1.5 liter underpowered engine. Buy a GTI instead. This Honda is a disgraceful tuner car.

+Team Andromeda actually someone in our Facebook group ran a 13.8 sec 1/4 mile with a tune, downpipe front pipe, and a cold air intake. He was on OEM all seasons with no further weight reductions besides a muffler delete. This is less than $1500 in mods. Mind you type r will do 1/4 mile in high 13s to low 14s... This was on a 4 Dr sedan 2018 SI.... I was impressed

Slap a cold air intake, get a nice tune, and open up the exhaust and this will out preform the type r

Drive one. I said the same. I was actually buying an accord 2.0t manual. The 1.5t is no joke. The real place this car shines is in the suspension, and limited slip. This is the best value for a sporty ride with an lsd. Also with a KTuner off the shelf tunes can get you as high as 240hp.... Yes the k24 was fun with VTEC. But this thing has torque for days, available all though rpm band. The only thing this car needs is a stronger clutch. Other than that. It's the best car for the money.

If you want a tuner car, Type R would be much better suited for that.

The 2.0 liter would more than make up at the low end without the turbo with increased compression under na aspect. And would live up to the hype without going type R.

VTEC is fun at high RPMS, the new turbo engine gives you plenty of torque even with low speeds.

Over the last year or so I seem to see more and more Civic owners (all trims not just the SI) that seem to think they're driving on the Autobahn or something. They drive like such douchebags that they're almost as bad as BMW owners.
