Ford will be dropping the 5 liter motor for Trucks soon as they are getting some much torque out of their eco boost motors.

I've been towing for 8 years with a Nissan Titan. I'm always cycling between 3rd and 4th manually depending on grade. Why go down a steep hill in the highest gear and negatively grading it based on your number of brake applications? On steep grades I drop into 3rd, engine runs up to ~ 3,500 rpm and stays there with no brakes, unless it's really steep. I don't get why you score it this way. I mean really, who runs a trailer downhill in high gear mashing the brakes? Well, maybe an auto repair technician looking for business or a big rig driver with a death wish...

So I'll take a wild guess that because it's a 17, that were dealing with a 3.5 liter V6. In case others don't know this, now you do.

i had to trade in my ecoboost. I always had problems with it and the timing chain stretched so bad the adjusters couldnt even take up the slack. cost me a fortune. Im going back to GM trucks for their simplicity and reliability

Ford sucks!  You wouldn't think you'd have to look underneath a new F-150 to see if there is any rust, but you'd better.   I was sold a 2017 F-150 from Uftring Ford in Peoria Illinois and it was already as rusty underneath as a 3 year old rust-belt pickup.  Uftring and Ford suck because they won't do anything about it .  The aluminum body is a cover, beware of what lurks beneath!

Sound level check done at lower RPM than the run was done. The run was done mostly at 3500rpm, sound level check done under 3000rpm..... wth.

Turbos kill an engines ability to create back pressure which is what gives you good engine braking. Ecoboost motors need an exhaust brake if they are going to have down hill performance like a naturally aspirated engine.

Technically the brake application comparison is also flawed because last year using a Vnose would be more aerodynamic and one would think would need more brake applications than this year with a flat nose trailer which is like a parachute behind the truck.

Both people lived after a emergency lane change maneuver with a 9000lb trailer = over 9000 points.

For 63K why not get a super duty 4x4 crew cab with the diesel and have the ability to tow 21k+.

      Andrey, Please help!!! :)

I am on the market to buy a truck, I have never owned one before. Tearing apart between 2017 Ford F-150 3.5 EcoBoost Lariat 502A Luxury package - $51,000 vs 2017 Chevy Silverado 6.2L LTZ Z71 Midnight Edition - $48,000. I live in colorado, at high altitude and I know how regular engines loose about 20-30% of their power. I had 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi V8 it was a great engine, but I always felt like it wasn't enough torque and power there, especially going up the mountains.
I am not a ford guy, chevy guy or a dodge guy, I never had a truck. Just looking for unbiased opinion.
I tried the 2017 3.5 EcoBoost 375 HP and 470 Torue with that all new 10 speed and it blew my mind, from 0-60 in 7 seconds. I am not going to race with it, but its nice to have that ability when u need it. I also tired 2017 Chevy's 6.2L with 8 speed is a good, strong V8 engine 420 HP and 460 torque, but still, it didn't pick up as good as 3.5 EcoBoost especially at altitude. But I love the look of chevy midnight a lot more and also can get a little better deal vs ford. I have watched a lot of your videos, but still can't make up my mind lol. Don't know which one to go with.

Which one do u think is better? Is Ford for a more money worth it? What would you do ?

      Thank you Спасибо =)

My 2016 F165 (2.7) with the cruse control on. Will down shift to low gears without tow/haul mode on. To keep the truck at whatever speed. I think I will go make a video about that now.

There was no one in the left lane. I watch the video at lease 3 times. Why did the driver wait until the last second to get over?
