► Summary:

I drove the 2016 Chrysler 300 for two days. This is a big four door sedan with a lot of great features. But...well I just didn't like it. I'm six feet tall and even with the driver's seat lowed all the way I still hit my head on the ceiling. And the back seat is even worse. I actually had to slouch to fit.

I'm also super annoyed that Chrysler included a small analog clock at the top of the center console right next to the touch screen that has...a digital clock. Really poor design in my opinion.

But the Chrysler 300 does have some great tech features and some decent acceleration, so do check it out if you're looking for a large four door sedan.

Likes:
(1) decent acceleration;
(2) updated tech; and
(3) plenty of storage space.

Dislikes:
(1) low ceiling;
(2) ugly interior;
(3) what's with the analog clock?

► Would I buy this car? No. I don't like the design and I don't even fit in the front seat.

      he is not lying my friend. I had to buy a 300 without a sunroof because I was not comfortable in the 300 with a sunroof I own a 2016 300 touring.. Oddly enough my 2008 chrysler 300 ltd had a sun roof and it was not a problem. I hope that it is something that can be looked into when they freshen up the car in the next edition.

      I also have a 2016 chrysler 300c. With the panoramic sun/moon roof. I'm 6'2 and I've never had any issues with my head scraping the roof. Also, my dad is 6'5 and sitting behind me in the back seat, he still had plenty of room. So unless you guys are magically sitting on booster seats I can't agree with you on this.

      he ain't lying, im 5ft10 and i have a hard time sitting in the back. you can get back there, but it's a tight squeeze. now in the drivers seat and passenger seat you shouldn't have a problem.

      +Louis Collins Interesting. I definitely don't want to give people bad info. I tend to sit very upright, I wonder if that's the issue? What about the backseat? I remember having to crouch back there. Do you have head room when you sit in the back?

      Needs the hemi lol. The v6 isn't bad at all but the 5.7 actually pushes you into the seat when you floor it.

      +100 Rental Cars The passengers are seating in the back and are the only ones effected by the sun that is coming in the back window. So, it makes a lot of sense for the passengers in the back should have control of the sun shade. Also, why it was a great idea, is because you don't have to bother the driver if you want it up or down.

      I don't care for this car. Mainly because the 392 hemi version is not available in America. What Chrysler was thinking was just dumb to me. Yes it looks nice inside and out, but they had the art version in the past, and have it with the 8 speed now, but in Australia, and in the east

      Huh never seen gas caps like that!

      God damn my keyboards covered in drool now.....
      I <3 all those luxury features!
      God damn does all that look nice!

      I'm luckily only 5 foot 5 so your biggest issues wouldn't apply to me!

      I once had a 2007 Chrysler 300 Touring. Was a very nice car.
      Nowhere near as loaded as this Modern 300, and Mine wasn't even the highest package more of a mid level package.

      But the car had a nice ride, and I loved its bold kinda classic looking design!

      I sold mine because the amount of small problems were mounting up, and it didn't terrible in winter where I would find my self stuck on a hill with people driving around me.

      Tried to go to work early in the morning once and I had to climb a big hill for a shortcut.
      But it wasn't cleared yet.

      Since it was 4am I was being stubborn and kept trying to get up.
      An officer in his big also RWD Crown Vic pulled up next to me to question what I was obviously trying to do. I think he was just amused. then once he finished talking to me he went up the hill with no trouble.
      I gave up and went the long way.

      I might of just had the worse all season tires on it, maybe I should of purchased some snow tires. But that was a major thing that pushed me away from it!

      I do still miss my 300, was a nice car!
      (ignoring the Chrysler reliability issues)

      I made it 70% up that hill within 10mins!
      I was making progress but I think between the officer being amused by my suffering and the fact I had to get to work I gave up.

      But even the slight hill to get out of my works complex when I would need to turn at the lights I got stuck in the middle of the intersection with people going around me!

      I got 3 cars currently, a 1988 Cadillac Brougham D'elegance I've owned since I was 16.
      a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage I purchased new as my first "newly" purchased car.
      and a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer that I got super cheap though connections from a former employer where I paid what the dealer paid the customer on there trade in. (next to nothing) (never do trade in's!)

      I hope you don't, but I couldn't help but laugh at your story of trying to get up that hill. That must have been soooo frustrating. Especially at 4am. What are you driving now?

Sometimes I film these in advance and then add the audio later and....we'll I can't always make things as perfectly as I'd like. I'll try to do better with the next review. Anyway, thanks for the comment. And Happy New Year!

      the 30 MPG is mostly highway driving? I wouldn't think a car with that weight to get that averaged MPG.

      +Ben Dunn Yep, all highway. I also try and do some pseudo hyper-mileing too. Meaning, I try to accelerate slowly and break infrequently. It really helps with the mpg.

      What you are calling the heads-up display is actually just a Driver Information Center. Heads-up displays are mounted in the top of the dash and are projected onto the base of the windscreen. It makes it look as if the image is ahead of you on the road surface, allowing you to see the vital information without moving your eyes. Also, the rear sunshade also has a button in the backseat between the rear heated seat buttons.

      100 Rental Cars Awesome!! Yeah. My Oldsmobile Cutlass had the heads-up display and I loved it. Especially at night. My Cutlass had the really bright vacuum fluorescent digital gauge cluster that mimicked the look of analog and it was nice during the day, but at night, they were really bright. Your reviews are good. I've been watching them.
