The song on the radio was Def Lepperd. Also the fuel gauge needle was moving back & forth rapidly, during the road test.
Nice car. Mercedes doesn't built cars like that anymore.

My dad had one of these a 91 model, same color and interior. It was the first car I learned to drive in 92, the worst thing about this car was the power, or lack of it. But genuinely going for a long drive with work it was super comfortable.

Still drove my W124 300E, and like W126, but my favorite is W108/109. It would be very nice to present some of them.
Always pleasure to see your presentation.

I agree with the comments that it's the side comments that help to make it--I am old enough to get Idi Amin references, and I like that you think of far-off places--but what really make the reviews good are the deep appreciation for fine workmanship, the awe apparent in your voice, the oh my god it's so *well-made*! stuff. I am only a virtual tire-kicker, though I'd buy one of these at once if I won a lottery, yet I try and understand the complex engine and frame M-B designations. Very confusing! You had another review, I think of the W124, which seemed a more luxe car to me from your review than this plainer-looking W126, yet it was not S-class, but apparently the M104 engine, as you said, has a degrading-harness issue every time, and the M103 is the engine to die for--single-overhead and not (as in the W124) dual-overhead M104 ... Anyway, enjoying the reviews, although ... leaves and birds are not going to hurt you!

I had the AMG package for this car. The whole car is a money pit. The suspension was under capacity and leaf springs and shocks etc constantly broke. Oil leaks everywhere- Vaccum hoses leaking etc-etc. The car is the worst they ever made. TADA!!!

Throughout my youth I knew when I saw one of these the owner had to be a wealthy entrepreneur. In my eyes Mercedes was as royal as Rolls Royce. All the nighttime TV dramas featured this car for the rich people. This vehicles design is a work of art that looks strong and powerful.

the video is nicely done; however, please try not to be so wordy with the back story about the manufacturer. also, when talking about parts of the car, try to remember to focus the cam on the items/parts your are speaking about. zooming out a bit would help the shot. remember: the car is the focus, not you and the happenings around you. prices would help the sale. just use an overlay at the end which tells people the prices mentioned is subject to final sale and final agreed upon price.

The 1989-1991 Mercedes w126 Series 2 are the best S Class ever made. I use my 420sel as a daily driver and wouldn't trade it for anything.

The 300 with the M103 engine is so reliable ! It can last forever ! It's truly a wonderful car. The W126 is definitely the last best reliable Mercedes produced.
