If you accidentally hit that button while driving u can accidentally open the truck when could have your truck open fully while driving causing you to pull over and get out the car

The problem I have with these New Accords is that they have lawn mower engines, bring back the 3.5 liter V6.

+RICKEY HALL True. But nowadays with all the computers and the right tolerances in engines you're going to have more than just turbo issues. Besides, everyone is going with turbos to sell cars and still be within epa standards. In my opinion I would rather go with a reliable brand like Honda than Ford or Chevy.

2.0 is better. It’s just as fast and gas consumption MPG is much better! 30mpg In 2.0 VS 20MPG of a 3.5 V6.

Check out my other video I just uploaded comparing the Touring Accord to my Lexus ES350. Camry does not even deserve to be compared to a Touring Accord.

How many miles did you put on this car using it as an Uber car? How much did you get for trade-in?

Dean Rogan In reply to Ralph Roman

This car was actually the reason I just started working for Honda as a Sales Associate. I was a Toyota man before but was very disappointed with the Lexus I recently leased and switched to a Honda brand.

Ralph Roman I did about 14k miles on it total. Used it for Uber for only 4 months. Car is still sitting in my driveway in Miami waiting to be sold. I had a minor accident on record when this lady scratched my rear bumper and it scares away some buyers. I’m not letting this car go bellow trade in value. Looking to get $19000 for the car.

Dean Rogan In reply to Daniel G

Daniel G The last generation Camry is the worst ever. Car is like a tuna can. All the exterior panels, roof, hood and trunk bend like paper plates. The sound proofing is terrible. Car has no breaks and steering is not responsive. It’s a straight up yellow cab now. I own a Lexus ES 350 and I’m not even happy with it. Honda is a better brand at this point and they know what they are doing when it comes to Accord, Passport, Odyssey and civic as well. Toyota makes a decent corolla and a good yellow cab. Best Toyota cats are only the Tundra trucks.

Good video ..Man you really scuffed up this inside of the driver door !!! Kicking the door open ....I guess ... Good to know about the heat coming in ... I do a lot of town driving and I read that is not good on a turbo as well ... It needs to get hot on an open road.. These turbo engines have some drawbacks ... Also they will never last or be as reliable as the previously Naturally aspired engines ... I will probably go with Toyota ... After what you said about the heat coming in has swayed me even more in that direction ...

Dealer might be able to change the time delay for the trunk lid . longer or shorter press of the button. Benz have that option. I agree with your concerns I have to have keyless entry and push-button start . I got spoiled from the altima in 2007. Another things that I like about Nissan is you can let the car idle and get out of the car and a lock of the door with either the button on the door handle or the remote.. some manufacturers you must use a key to lock the door... won't let you lock the door with the car running.. I have also a Toyota Camry there is no exterior trunk release switch which I find very annoying. I was looking into a 2.0 accord.

I believe we are the Guinea pigs. I like my car alot... My issues are paint chips going straight to the metal. 2500 miles in 7 months highway driving mainly garage kept. I know the refresh will fix Everything, but I couldn't wait 4 years my current car is about to fall apart.

So rocks kicked up from the highway, while strong enough to chip/crack windshields, should not chip paint which is softer? That's your logic?

The cars nice.. but not good enough to beat the refreshed 2016 n 17 V6 touring. All this car has is few extras which aren't that important.. beside the V6 will never have to deal with turbo maintenance over time.

One bad thing about the V6 Accord is that you still had to change the timing belt !! That is a downer ... That is expensive and it Better be done correctly !! The Camry did not require that.

Why didn't you get the 2.0 liter turbo that's what I got and you buy a car and only keep it for like one year that's crazy

Dean Rogan In reply to john Hightower

john Hightower I was not planning to keep it for only one year but that is just how it happened. I needed a luxury car for work. 2.0 was $3500 more at the time of purchase and I didn’t want to pay extra at that point.

I upgraded my 1.5T Sport to remote start FOB. Keyless entry, not a big deal, especially for those that want to personal control lock and unlock status. I am also grateful trunk does not open immediately upon touch, would not want the lid popping up while I am driving. The extra second of button depression ensures it is a conscious decision. Lastly, a release button on the back of the trunk would be nice, but FOB entry or driver door panel entry is sufficient. This also provides extra security when you are away from your car and doors are unlocked.

The heat in the cabin, I have not have that problem, but I will further investigate. Thanks!

Dean Rogan In reply to Miguel Torres

Miguel Torres The keyless entry was the biggest issue I had with this trim. Even my Hyundai Limited had that option and I got very used to it in the last few years with all my other cars. However overall the car is great but if I was buying one again I would go for the 2.0 sport trim or Touring. 2.0 comes with keyless entry, trunk release button, sun roof and from what I hear additional heat protection for the footwell area in the cabin.

+Dean Rogan I was thinking about one of those as well ... I noticed the Camry XLE has some similar features ... The wheels are of similar styling ... A Camry XLE V6 is pushing 40 grand fully loaded .I know you will like the Lexus better than that Accord Sport ... A transmission with gears verses a CVT and a smoother more refined naturally aspired engine .. It will be very good for city driving ... the same for me .

Tariq have you ? I understand there's a problem with gas getting into the oil & diluting it. The CRVs have this issue because they have the same or similar engine. Check your oil levels.if the dipstick shows overfilled levels and you havent added oil that's what happening. I read this is mostly happening in cold weather areas and engine smell in the cabin is a symptom of this. Better contact your Honda Service Center asap.
