This is the all new Lexus LS. It's got the style to stand out against the conservative looks of its German rivals, but does it have the substance to compete against the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class? I was invited to the launch to find out!

You probably maintained them meticulously. When you sell them the next owners might well not. Eventually things will break.

Fantastic vehicle, just sold a customer the TRD JAPAN aero kit for his LS500, comes pre-painted in select colors.

Sets the car apart even more, you won’t see many with this on the road!

I love the way Lexus are prepared to be different; Yet still really good. The interior, has something really nostalgic about it. Don't care about the Mercedes comparisons. this car is in a world of its own.

I reckon you should go right ahead and buy it... that's what you should've said Mat

You forget one major element with this car which is RELIABILITY and most probably this car will give you 10 years of its life with the least amount of faults and major issues comparing to rivals

The Ls is and amazing car. But, I don't think it's as good as an s class. Maybe an a8 but not an s class

+Jakub Kujawa The LS does not have all the luxury features that the 7 and S class have, so let's stop that right there. The 7 and S class are more advanced in tech. Has the least spacious rear seat than both. Now materials you have a point because I love Lexus craftsmanship. But s class vs 7 series, they are both made very well, but even then the 7 series still comes up short vs the S class, and sales show. I work at a BMW dealership, and someone just traded in a W222 S550 ( Base model). And I compared both and for the S class being as bare bones that it is, is put together very well with nice materials. Soooo we can go back and forth with this. I would take a fully loaded LS over a 7 series, but I would easily take the S class over all of them.

Lilrick96 both 7 series and LS has all these features + both of them are made from much better premium materials than S class.

+Jakub Kujawa Leather and premium materials, technology that is up to date and intuitive. Luxury amenities like massaging seats, heated and cooled seats . Having a upscale and stately design inside and out. The definition of luxury for a car is to be pampered while you ride and drive. A serene driving experience.

i have changed my mind about the s class being the best this is definitively the best, also the normal ls can do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds which is faster and cheaper than the s class and yes i have been in an s class but i have never been in an ls

ahah 0-60 in 6.4 seconds my 2003 c230 does 0-60 in 7 seconds flat stock with 150k and more kilometers on the odometer and my sister’s c300 2009 is even faster , i would choosse the benz for classy interior like thas my opinion and theres something aboht looking at that benz logo up front i mean i would pick the s class over that all in all
