Do a review of the BMW Gran Tourer, seems like a very stylish family 7 seater with low running costs. Would definitely want to see what it really is like.

Wow that KIA is fantastic. VW is a little bit of a let down tbh and I'm a VW fanboy lol

When it comes to the off road capability, KIA dominates among these three. I believe Sorento is the only one here which can nail the diagonal test.

Euro badge snobbery. By the time you opt all the extras in the VW and Skoda they will be far from affordable. Did you see the space in the 3rd row in the VW and Skoda? Not much. The Kia is a far more comfortable drive if you have a large family and need to use the last 2 rows. I think he got this one so wrong as i thought he was comparing them cos of the extra row of seats. Else should have got the X trail and Outlander as well.

The design of the Skoda is just brilliant. The Kia comes close on the exterior, but can't really stand on the interior.

The Kia was clearly the better car there. If someone's buying a big SUV that car handling like a big SUV is something that shouldn't be an issue to deal with. the Skoda isn't bad, but the Kia's better.

I have a 2015 Kia Sorento and I love it. Yes, it's not the greatest on fuel but it suits the six of us perfectly. I would definitely buy another one in a few years.

I like VW, but also Skoda is very nice too.
Where KIA for me looks more like a Van not an SUV. No power, transmission is weak, is too massive inside and out, in corners you can't go a bit faster cause it feels like you are going to roll over, and one important thing it drink petrol too much.
But anyway we all buy what we like 👍

s'funny - I test drove the Tiguan 150bhp and found it was noisy (tyre noise in particular, which motoring journalists don't seem to hear) didn't feel that great in the corners and had an incredibly laggy engine.

Judging by the comments, one would think that everyone and their mother drives a KIA. And yet, for some ''strange' reason, you'll see 3 VW for every KIA on the street. That Skoda is a worthy winner, you cannot realistically expect more car for that kind of money.

Ive test driven all 3. I personally preferred the Kodiaq for style points and the vw for the drive. The sorento was no where near as relaxing to drive as the other 2 and due to the high waist line of the car it was poor for viewing particularly for smaller people like my missus (5'6).
She had the seat adjustment all the way up and still struggled to see the end of the bonnet when driving lol. Not to mention the sat nav on the sorento looked cheap and poor quality and dont even mention fuel economy in that thing, 33mpg at best....forget it. Go for one of the other 2.

Matt I'm a VW Touran driver yes the VW Tiguan looks crap unless you buy the R Line so it probably is the loser here, but even I will admit the Sorento looked really nice inside better than the Tiguan and Skoda it won all the categories except driving but it still should have won this test! Yes the mpg was shocking and it has a bit of body roll, but the Skoda shouldn't have been placed first!

The reason the tilt and slide is only at one side in the Kia Sorento is so that the rear seat passengers can only enter and exit from the kerb side, never the road side. Stops little kids (who are usually the ones in the very back) from getting run over.

Kia cockpit is too cramped compared to the other two. Seat to roof head space is terrible for tall drivers.

I checked out the Skoda Kodiaq at the dealer yesterday and it's excellent. The storage space and details are tops and I could sit comfortably in the third row and I'm 178 cm with long legs.
