If you're shopping for a full-sized SUV, Ford's all-new Expedition simply has to be on your shopping list. It's more modern and more fuel efficient than the competition with good handling dynamics, a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine and a new 10-speed automatic transmission. Tow ratings are at the top of the pack and it quite simply feels newer than the Chevy, Nissan, Toyota or GMC competition.

Beautiful vehicle. GM will have to up its game with the Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade, if they want to keep their 75% market share in this segment. They will have to go with independent rear suspension on their next versions for better ride quality and space efficiency in back.

Alex, if you are in the MAX version with 2nd and 3rd row folded, can you a 4x8 sheet of plywood or drywall into it? Thank you.

He should be mentioning the reliability of the vehicles. He kept saying Durango is quicker etc but Durangos reliability is bad.

Durango is also unibody, which means it doesn't compete with this. He drives a Durango so I guess he's comparing with what he knows

Expedition is pretty good on the smog emissions and CO2 for such a big vehicle. Ex: Ford: 469g CO2/mile and 5/10 for smog rating.
Dodge Durango 533g CO2/mile and 3/10 smog rating. From fueleconomy.gov

Hey Alex, i just wanted to tell you that on the cargo area, the hooks that are said to be for groceries are in fact for the double hinge cover that you found a little confusing. In this way you can put the cover over the hooks horizontally like some kind of shelf to put stuff on it and be able to reach it from the back window opening so you don't have to open the whole thing and mess around with your luggage, you can also extend a small lip on one side of the cover to prevent your stuff from falling from the shelf every time the vehicle brakes. The second position of this cover is to put it over the hooks on a vertical way so it forms like a little wall to prevent your excess baggage from falling or if you have something that could roll out from the cargo area when you open it.
You are on of the best reviewers that i have encounter globally with the plus that you actually quantify and ranked every measurement, keep up the excellent work. Saludos desde México amigo.

I love Ford very much But I must say that they still do not have a good interior design They make the same design for all models And that's a bit annoying

Honestly I’m not sure which I’d get between this or the Navigator. I much prefer the interior and exterior design of the Expedition but the Navigator has a leg up on comfort and quality. I really don’t like how the Navigator looks all that much but it has more to offer. This is actually a dilemma for me

I'm curious a friend of mine has a platinum edition pickup truck and he stated that the windshield is an acoustic glass and it has double pane windows on both the driver and passenger side.
Is this the case with the Platinum Edition on this SUV? As an audiophile this has me intrigued and might explain why the noise level is so low in this SUV.

Why is a traditional V8 a Pro? The 3.5L EcoBoost with the 10-Speed transmission out tows and accelerates the "Traditional" V8s. You even make a case on why the EcoBoost is better overall.

The main argument is that a v8 will hold up better over time. Theoretically, all the extra pressure and strain put on the v6 by the turbos will cause it to wear out faster. Not sure if this is actually true though.

A turbocharged V6 for a big vehicle like this? I’d honesty rather have a V8 like the Suburban, as turbos will only give this vehicle more reliability issues in the future.
