The pickup truck segment is no longer just about flaunting muscle and capability; far from it. For top-end models like this you’d better be bringing smarts and a heaping dose of luxury if you want to compete. And for this all-new Ram Limited, the bar has just been raised.

MSRP as-tested: $69,140

Fantastic looking truck, unfortunately we could never afford to run this in Ireland as diesel is around $9 a gallon!

I've heard the coils actually ride better than the air suspension. ... However, I've not test driven to compare.

Warranty for six years.... rust holes in seven years. Probably takata air bags still. Dodge garbage. Untested, unreliable. Too many new things instead of tried, tested, and true.

My advice is to never ever buy a Ram product.. I gave it two attempts with my 2014 1500rt and a 2016 1500 sport. I agree that the interior is probably the nicest in its class and the hemi 5.3l is a solid platform. Means absolutely nothing when you can't rely on competent service or warranty repairs. My local dealership, Staten Island dodge jeep ram, has to have one of the most incompetent service departments around. It's dirty, cramped and the mechanics are horrible. From failure to fix recalls to easy oil changes, this place is the bottom of the barrel. I am limited in my options as to taking it somewhere else so I just traded my 16 in for a 2018 GMC sierra. What the sierra lacks in finer interior appointments, they make it up in the way they treat customers. Night and day regarding service departments. Think long and hard the next time you are going to spend $60000 on a truck.

+ryding with ryan My douche bag cousin bought one.. The screen freezes, the leather stitching has strands hanging out, some of the trim pieces are not aligned straight, the throttle stuck open and he almost crashed it already.. .. you can put lipstick on a pig all you want, it is still a dodge, unreliable, archaic engine and terrible on gas. JUNK for fan boys

MGTOWN nope because the fit and finish is nearly as good as a German car. The power train is silky smooth. The ride quality is absolutely incredible. The speakers and sound system is somthing you would never expect in a pickup truck. The amount of features the truck comes with is absolutely astonishing for the price. The sound in the cabin on the highway is next to nothing. The rear leg room is amazing. The seats are incredibly plush and comfortable. You can hate on it all you want but this truck is not the classic Chrysler interior. No hard plastic to be found any place you will touch. and yes the infotainment system is very amusing but assuming that that is the only reason I think this truck is great is wrong.
If you haven’t personally driven one than you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about.
Also to add on to all that you can still tow big trailers and throw things in the bed.

$70 thousand dollars. Say it out loud!!! I bought a fully laoded Ram 4x4 in 2011 for 45k. How in the hell is it now worth 25k more even with all that new shit on it?! Same engine, same frame too. Just air suspension and a more luxurious interior. These trucks are getting too plush now, defeats the whole purpose of a truck imo.

Yeah never pay asking price. Here in SoCal I've seen limited 4x4 going for mid 55k. Which I think is a deal. And always buy last week of the month when they are trying to make quota to get best deal.

You can still buy a Ram limited for ~$45,000. If you actually did buy a 2011 (don't really believe you), you'd know $70,000 is just a suggested price.

+TestDriveNow Reviews by Auto Critic Steve Hammes having owned 3 F150s and 2 RAM 1500s, fuel economy was never a consideration. You understand when you're buying a truck with a V8, that fuel economy is a tradeoff. To concentrate on fuel efficiency is to not understand the mindset of a pickup consumer.
