We go behind the scenes with Bigfoot, the world's original monster truck, to see how such a machine can regain the Guinness World Records' Longest Ramp Jump by a Monster Truck record on another episode of How'd They Do That.

Can we see the whole jump without different angles and repeats showing? The editing is so bad on it.

The narrator said: "Dan can no longer see the jump, and steers using the lines of the ramp as his guide"......end quote. THAT MAKES ZERO SENSE. What a stupid thing to say, because the ramp IS "the jump" that the narrator claims "Dan can no longer see". And he HAS TO be able to see the ramp, because it is the most elevated object of the entire course, or else he could miss the ramp entirely. If he couldn't see the ramp, he damn sure couldn't see the line painted on the ground, which is the lowest of all. Who the hell wrote those lines for the narrator to say. What he SHOULD have said, was: "Dan can no longer see the line painted on THE TRACK, therefore he has to rely on THE RAMP ITSELF as the target". Now THAT makes total sense. Good grief.

Bad Habit is a mom and pop outfit who didn't have all the money and sponsors and every resource available to compete for the title and they did beat the first record. I don't think Big Foot deserved the title, anyone who has money to burn can always do something better by the books, but by the heart Bad Habit is still the winner.

219 feet is 73 yards, or about the same distance a quarterback in the NFL can throw the ball (Brett Favre threw it 77 yards at the QB challenge).

HELL IF THATS THE CASE YOU COULD BUILD A HEAVILY WEIGHTED FRONT END AND NOSE WHEELIE YOUR WAY TO A CRAZY RECORD. IT SHOULD BE MEASURED BY THE ACTUAL POINT OF FIRST CONTACT WHETHER IT BE THE FRONT TIRES, BACK TIRES, OR EVEN THE DAMN ROOF FOR THAT MATTER.
